2. Use of Service

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 21 years old to rent a vehicle through Origin Rent.
  • A valid driver's license issued by your country of residence is required.
  • Certain vehicle categories may have additional age or license requirements.

Account Registration

  • To use certain features of the Service, you may be required to create an account.
  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update it as necessary.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Booking and Payment

Booking Process

  • Reservations can be made online through our website or via our customer support team.
  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.

Payment

  • Payments must be made using approved payment methods listed on our website.
  • By providing payment information, you authorize Origin Rent to charge the total amount due, including taxes and fees.
  • In the event of a booking cancellation, refund policies as outlined in Section 7 apply.

4. Rental Terms

Vehicle Pickup and Return

  • Vehicles must be picked up and returned to the designated locations specified in the Rental Agreement.
  • Late returns may incur additional charges as detailed in the Rental Agreement.

Usage Restrictions

  • Vehicles are to be used for lawful purposes only.
  • Smoking is prohibited in all vehicles.
  • The Customer is responsible for any fines, penalties, or damages incurred during the rental period.

Maintenance and Fuel

  • Customers are expected to return the vehicle with the same level of fuel as at pickup unless otherwise agreed.
  • Routine maintenance is handled by Origin Rent; however, customers must report any issues immediately.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all drivers listed in the Rental Agreement have valid licenses and meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during the rental period.
  • Notify Origin Rent of any accidents, damages, or theft involving the vehicle immediately.

6. Insurance and Liability

Insurance Coverage

  • Basic insurance is included with each rental. Additional coverage options are available for purchase.
  • Customers are responsible for understanding the extent of their insurance coverage and any potential liabilities.

Liability

  • Origin Rent is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the rented vehicle.
  • Customers are liable for any damage to the vehicle beyond normal wear and tear.

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time are eligible for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 48 hours of the pickup time may incur a cancellation fee as specified in the Rental Agreement.

Refund Process

  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7-10 business days after cancellation approval.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and intellectual property displayed on the Service are the property of Origin Rent or their respective owners. Unauthorized use of any materials is strictly prohibited.

10. Termination

Origin Rent reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to breach of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Kuwait, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

Origin Rent may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date. By continuing to access or use our Service after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.
